​Clinic Support

Preparation: Helping set up the clinic, organize supplies, and prepare the area for surgeries.

Animal Care: Assisting with the care of animals before, during, and after procedures.

Administrative Tasks

Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate records of animals treated, including intake forms, medical records, and post-operative care logs.

Scheduling: Coordinating volunteer schedules to ensure adequate coverage during clinic days.

Animal Care

Pre-Operative Care: Assist with the preparation of animals for surgery, including administering anesthesia and ensuring animals are stable.

Post-Operative Care: Monitor animals during their recovery period, providing necessary medical attention and support.

Handling and Restraint: Safely handle and restrain animals during procedures to ensure their comfort and safety.

Feeding and Hydration: Ensure animals receive proper nutrition and hydration before and after surgery.

Volunteer Training: Provide training sessions for new volunteers on animal handling, care protocols, and clinic procedures.

Education

Informing and Raising Awareness: Create and disseminate information about the clinics and educate the community on the importance of spaying and neutering their pets. Your efforts will help build community understanding and support for these vital programs​

Promotion

Social Media, Flyers, and Community Events: Assist in promoting upcoming clinics through social media platforms, creating flyers, and participating in community events to raise awareness.

Veterinarians and Vet Techs:

Surgical Support: Perform spay/neuter surgeries, vaccinations, and other veterinary procedures.

Animal Care: Provide pre- and post-operative care to animals, ensuring their well-being and recovery.

Training & Education: Educate local veterinary staff and volunteers on best practices in animal care and surgical procedures.
Event And Fundraising Volunteers

Grant Writer & Researcher: Assist in the grant writing process and conduct ongoing grant availability research (can be done from home).

Fundraising Lead: Help expand and maintain fundraisers, sustaining donor programs, and corporate outreach.​​​​

Administrative Support:

Completing administrative tasks from home, involving email and basic computer/database skills (training provided).
